Ibestwork DMX Artnet Controller Description
Linghtning series is a convenient and easy-to-use controller based on Ethernet transmission ArtNet to DMX512 protocol. This controller supports the international standard ArtNet II and ArtNet III protocols, and supports the world's mainstream lighting software, such as Germany's MADRIX, Britain's MadMapper, the Netherlands' Resolume Arena, Grand MA console, etc. This controller can modify the main parameters of the controller through the web server, such as the controller IP address, the controller channel (Universe), and the controller name.
Input interface: We use the American Atmeil Ethernet interface chip to ensure the transmission of Ethernet data more reliably; Data processing: We use a powerful ARM9 core CPU to convert data at high speed; Output: We use a powerful FPGA to synchronize and quickly output DMX512 data, and can support a single control to achieve the output of more channels of DMX512 data, up to 30 channels, nearly twice the number on the market.
The controller power supply uses the well-known Meanwell switching power supply. Overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit protection, low power consumption. The controller has a simple appearance and structure, and uses a standard 1U, 2U cabinet standard chassis for easy installation and use. The Linghtning series has a total of 4 models with different channel numbers, namely Linghting 4, Linghting 12, Linghting 20, Linghting 30.
The essential difference between DMX and SPI
The essential difference between DMX and SPI is the signal stability. DMX is not easily disturbed, and the lines of controller and lamp can be far away. The SPI controller needs to be close to the lamp, and the wiring needs special attention. If the actual lamp is broken, either DMX or SPI may affect the latter lamp or not. It mainly depends on what is wrong with the lamp. It cannot be judged only by whether the lamp is not bright or flashing. The breakpoint transmission of SPI is theoretically that the front light is broken, which does not affect the work of the rear light. However, there are many inconveniences in application now.
